Welcome to our 2019 season.  This is our forth year of serving boaters on Hood Canal.  Already we have been busy with a wedding get away scheduled about a week away and a pleasure cruise next Tuesday.  We have been accepted as a successful bidder to do some water clarity testing and await Navy approval before beginning that work.

Shrimp season.  We’ve been given the following four dates — May 11, 15, 29 and June 1.  Other dates are possible; we have been given extra days the past two years.

Boats.  We plan to rent four boats, each with a power pot puller, each of the shrimp days.  The largest boat at 23 feet and with a cabin, Maggie O’Brien requires a Washington State Safe Boater’s Card to rent.  It will hold from four to six passengers depending on their weight.  It will rent for $250 per day plus gas.  Rental of four pots complete with line and buoy but less bait is $60 per day.

Our 20 foot dory has a 9.9 horse Yamaha in a well.  This boat will take four to six passengers depending on weight.  It rents of $225 per day plus gas.

We have two 14 foot aluminum Crestliners, one with a 9.9 horse motor, the other with a 7.5 hourse motor.  These boats rent for $150 per day.

If you are a new customer we will ask for a refundable $100 damage deposit  As usual when renting from us you agree to replace items damaged such a bent propellors or lost shrimp gear.  We will coach you to help ensure nothing is damaged.

We currently have two openings for opening day, May 11.  The other dates are not yet booked.  So call or email and get ready for a wonderful time shrimping on beautiful Hood Canal.

Our mission is to help you have fun on the water in a safe manner.  Let us know how we can help.  Jim
